I want it explained
If I cannot explain a business in plain words, I am not ready to take it seriously.

My name is Ambimbola Samuel. Over the years, I have explored different business ventures, experienced setbacks, and learned lessons that changed the way I evaluate business opportunities. Today, I am building with Turbo Loop, and I want to share my journey and what I have learned along the way.
Pending approval: Samuel must review and approve this first-person introduction before it is published.
Prefer to watch? Samuel tells the opening of his story in his own words.
I am a businessman who has spent years exploring different ventures. Some taught me patience. Some tested my confidence. A few did not turn out the way I had imagined. Each one left me with a lesson I still carry today.
Those experiences changed the questions I ask. I stopped asking only, "How much could this make?" and started asking, "How does this actually work?"
If you have ever started something with hope and felt the weight of it when things did not go to plan, you will understand this story.

When you are excited about something new, it is easy to mistake excitement for understanding. I have learned that they are very different things. A business can sound wonderful in a conversation and still be hard to run, expensive to keep going, or a poor match for the person trying it.
Exploring different ventures taught me about planning, consistency, risk, customer demand and running costs. It taught me that good decisions are made with information, not emotion. Those lessons were not always comfortable, but I would not trade them.
"Over time, I began to understand that choosing a business is not simply about how attractive the opportunity sounds. You need to understand how it works, what it requires, where the value comes from, and what risks you are taking."
These are my personal lessons. They are not a promise that every business I choose will succeed, and they are not a promise for you.
I stayed curious and tried different ventures, because I believed experience was the best teacher. I learned what I enjoyed, and what I did not.
Setbacks showed me the difference between an exciting idea and a sound one. I began paying attention to costs, risks, planning and consistency.
I started asking how a business really works, what it requires from me, where its value comes from, and what could go wrong.
If I cannot explain a business in plain words, I am not ready to take it seriously.
Every fee and requirement should be clear from the start, never discovered later.
A realistic view of what can go wrong matters more to me than a beautiful promise.

These photographs are here to show real moments along the way, nothing more. I will describe an earlier photo only in words that accurately reflect my own experience, and only when I am comfortable sharing that context.

One of the biggest things my journey taught me is that nobody learns alone. The people around you, the questions they ask and the habits you build together all shape what you become.
I believe in education, consistent effort and teamwork. Wherever I go, I try to learn from others and share what I have learned in return.

I am not here to pressure anyone. I would like you to learn from what I have been through, ask your own questions, and decide for yourself what fits your life. Whatever you decide, I hope my story helps you decide with more clarity.

Because he believes his experiences can help other people ask better questions before they commit their time or money to anything.
That excitement is not the same as understanding. A business should be understood, its costs and risks should be clear, and decisions should be made with information.
